Gackt (ガクト, Gakuto?, 4 de julio)

Es un cantante japonés originario de la Prefectura de Okinawa. Su grupo sanguíneo es A. Tanto su fecha de nacimiento y nombre real se mantienen en secreto, a pesar de que oficialmente por parte de Gackt y su agencia se haya publicado que nació el día 4 de julio de 1973, y su nombre como el de Gackt Camui (神威楽斗, Camui Gackuto?). Se dice que nació en 1973, aunque la fecha real de su nacimiento es todo un misterio.

Escribe y compone sus canciones, y es un instrumentalista multitalentoso (domina casi todos los instrumentos de viento, el piano, la batería, la guitarra y los tradicionales instrumentos japoneses como el Koto o el Shamisen entre otros), tal como él afirma en su autobiografía Jihaku y tal y como demuestra en sus conciertos en los que aparece tocando toda clase de instrumentos. Políglota, habla japonés, chino, coreano,mandarin y algo de inglés, español y francés, tal como él mismo ha dicho recientemente para la revista Tokyo Headline y Oricon, actualmente continúa con su aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras.

Gackt se dio a conocer en el público japonés como vocalista y pianista del grupo de Visual Kei gótico Malice Mizer. Después de problemas con Mana, el líder de la banda, Gackt decidió hacer su carrera como solista. Discografía Gackt Gackt23ji7
